Hey guys,
I bought my car 6 months old in early 2020 from a Porsche stealership in Sydney.
After a few months i noticed the side airbag cover trim was pealing.
I brought it up with the dealer but they said Mercedes wouldn't cover it when i know on other forums they have covered this part.
Anyone had experience with Trim and Mercedes Australia warranty Claims?
I've contacted head office in Melbourne but they insisted they wont cover it.
I'm currently waiting for a hearing at NCAT.

Re: Mercedes Waranty Australia
It's been my experience a previous relationship and customer history with Mercedes Stealerships and MBA has some bearing on any warranty issues.
MBA doesn't cover warranty for any car not sold through their stealer network even if a particular car has 100% stealer service history.
MB are not Robinson Crusoe on that though.
Good luck with your claim. You might find that part of the replacement cost will be met as "Goodwill"

Hello, can I suggest that one important point you need to ascertain is "why" they won't cover it under warranty. This simple question will sometimes make them rethink their decision, as they have to disclose the logic behind the decision. If they refuse to explain why, then point out that they will have to disclose the reason once the VCAT hearing starts so might as well do it now and save the hassles.Barbalatte wrote: ↑Wed 25 May, 2022 7:17 pm I bought my car 6 months old in early 2020 from a Porsche stealership in Sydney.
