3.5 engine shock / stabilisers
Would anyone have any photos or diagrams that clearly show the engine shock arrangements for the W108 3.5s? Mine are missing.

Re: 3.5 engine shock / stabilisers
I'll try to upload some pics tomorrow of my car. I recently had mine replaced, so have a some idea where they are! Bear with me if you can - busy day tomorrow (driving to QLD to for work) will take pics before I go, but may not upload until late eve.

Here are some unlabelled pics. Hope they make sense. I can come back and label them later but just super busy until weekend. Questions welcome prior to that!

Re: 3.5 engine shock / stabilisers
Thanks, no need to label, they confirm my thoughts. Now I need to find a set of brackets and shocks! Much appreciated.

Re: 3.5 engine shock / stabilisers
Welcome. Glad they made sense. Yes, driver's side in at 45 -ish degree angle and passenger side is almost vertical. Can't help with sourcing brackets but this is where I found my shocks/dampers fyi - https://www.mbclassics.de/motor-damper- ... 11-114-116
Go well!

Re: 3.5 engine shock / stabilisers
btw - the damper / shocks made a huge difference to how the motor torqued - helped it stop scraping my steering box!! - along with a wee lift from new engine mounts and and subframe mounts. Gotta love a 3.5 - such a sweet motor...enjoy...
