Even more advice please..electrical Gurus!!
OK...Here is what happened. I dropped my 1973 280SE 350 off at a mates body shop for the custom extensive transformation from 4 door to 2 door convertible. The engine and running gear was in as well as obviously instruments etc. They said they would handle the lot and pull the motor, strip the engine bay and interior for the full conversion and repaint...........Except they failed to tag any wires from the loom inside or engine bay before removal. I have worked out many of the connections but would really appreciate some help from anyone out there that can identify where some of these plugs and connections belong or supply pics or wiring diagrams to assist! Australian delivered cars preferred, bu any help appreciated.

Check this out http://handbook.w116.org/ETM/73etm.pdf it's for 450 but I think they are pretty much the same, bit hard to read, you have to save it and open with a reader, also it is for the US version but could be helpful.
I take it you you have hooked up with 116org? http://forum.w116.org/
Also remember in Merc wiring, brown is earth.

Thanks Hendrick. Yes I have hooked up with W116.org and thanks for the earth tip. Hopefully connections may become more obvious once the motor is back in.
