So I take it in honour of this momentous occasion you will be giving OZVET members a further discount on all the parts they might need, to restore their Mercedes-Benz vehicles to good standard...........hint hint
BTW John you wouldn't happen to have a nice interior for a 201 hanging around........be willing to pay dollars for a beige/ivory tex one with rear headrests.
Steering wheel to suit same?

Hi guys, we should take a photo of all the OZBENZ members who attend the day to post on the forum?

Who is coming? Maybe we should pick a time to all meet, say 12 noon at my 280SEL station wagon.

I know this section is titled "Upcoming events", but given there has already been discussion about the ACT MB Club's concours here, I will post my comments here.

This would have to rate as one of the best of this type of events I have ever attended (and I have attended many). For a smaller club such as the ACT MB Club to attract so many cars (both entered for judging and for display), many from interstate, is a credit to them and the event organisers. The number of Mercedes attending would have to come close the the number I have seen at some of the larger NSW MB Club's concourses at Silverwater Park, and certainly many more than the number attending their recent concours at Fox Studios. The added interest of all the other marques (the event being the Shannons German Autofest) added the extra interest to make this one of the best displays ever.

For those who were not so fortunate as to be present at the event, photos have been posted at http://www.mbcnsw.org.au/forum/index.ph ... 395.0.html and more at http://forums.eurocca.net/showthread.php?t=18017 (starting at post #23).

Congratulations Mercedes-Benz Club of the ACT.

Greg
