Left parking light not working W210 E430

Hello all

My left hand parking light does not work. I place a new bulb in and it barely glows , then goes out.

I have checked fuses and they appear to be ok.

Any tips on what to look out for?

Rear?

If so, The bulb holder contacts might be dirty or lost tension.
