Rear Passenger Widows Issues

Post by Grumpy » Tue 07 Feb, 2017 6:08 pm

I had the dreaded rear window regulator failure. I ordered a new one from OZBENZ, it arrived in the mail two days later, how goods that :happy3: . However I was set back somewhat when the newy didn't look anything like the old one :( . As it turned out, the new one is highly modified and does in fact fit and work well. You no longer have to re-rivet the new one back in place. Bolts and nuts are supplied that fit onto brackets attached to the new regulator. You only have to drill the holes in the door slightly larger. Not hard to fit (once you know how  )
There are plenty of tutorials online such as this one, ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftzF8oIohzg ) but it still uses the original design. Follow this anyway and it will give you a heads up anyway. At the end of the day I am a happy chappy

You ordered it from OZBENZ?

Did not know this website was also into sales?

Or did you mean MBSpares, the forum sponsor?
