i must have picked this up years ago when i first got my 114 ( 1990's)
interesting the mods available for the m117 m110 and M103
includes a few suspension options too.

Thanks for sharing that and has stuff that i didn't know. I didn't realise they did a 2v 6.0, i thought they were all DOHC. And not sure if it is a typo but the 5.6 they have as having 41mm inlets and 5.0 having 44mm yet 44 more hp from the 5.6? Looks like same AMG cam - 5.0, used on both. That's good to know because i have a set of those cams i was thinking about putting into a 560 engine. Love those cams and how they behave in my 500SEC!

I wish we could still get all of that gear! How complex are those diffs and look at all those lovely ratios!

I can see why these Merc V8 engines don't make big power, with only 44mm valves you can only make so much. I know some people like to knock American V8s but big bores, 50mm inlets and big ports in the standard Chev 350 give you the basics to generate power. The valve sizes of the Mercedes would have been chosen to suit the engine characteristics that they wanted in the engines, they were probably not chasing big power.

Has anyone ever seen the AMG Microprocessor Controlled Suspension - That would be a work of art.
