cl 500 215

Post by growler » Sun 20 Mar, 2016 12:08 pm

I have a 2004 cl 500 and whilst out driving today it just stopped with most dash warning lights coming on, it would not restart but after about half hour it restarted and I brought it home on my car trailer, but it wouldnt restart, disconnected battery for awhile and reconnected and it started. I have disconnected the battery again and am recharging it although it is in good condition. Any ideas that may be causing this as I dont want it to happen a long way from home, thanks regards growler

I would take the car to an independent Benz specialist to have the fault codes read.
Electronics in these cars are advanced and unfortunately in most cases require specialist attention.
If you are in Sydney there is a specialist who occasionally posts on this who has a shop and could likely help you out.
His handle is frendomech1 - check out his posts.
