Mirror mystery

Post by zohar »

My W114 1974 came to me from South Africa with a single side mirror - on the driver side.

I have purchased a left hand side mirror from a similar car on eBay from the USA. It fits perfectly and looks great. Sadly it is a bit useless as it does not go 'in' enough to be usable. I can see through it but the view is too far from the car. Anyone has any idea why that would be the case ?

Yeah I can see that. However there must have been a left side mirror for the right hand drive cars right ?
