112cdi vito, engine removal, out the top or underneath?

As per above, just wondering if anyone knows the best way to take the engine out of a vito, out the top or drop the whole subframe underneath with engine and tranny in one go?

MB factory method is out the bottom... There is a factory jig to hold the subframe and lower everything at once.
