1998 ML320 Transmission Issues

Post by barneynitrous » Sat 12 Nov, 2016 10:44 pm

My 1998 ML320 Transmission has a weird issue, the first being it hard shifts 1-2, the second being on the way down from 2-1 when de-accelerating it just takes seconds so when your rolling at the lights and your just crawling it takes forever to go back to first and sort of goes into like a neutral for 2-3 seconds then revving up and slamming in it feels terrible, and dangerous any ideas?, it has on occasion held neutral and you just pull over work through the selector and it find itself again.
Note the Conductor plate has been changed
Main Connector Plug has been Changed
Fluid has been changed.
Sonnax basic O-Delete repeated word sleeve kit installed
Solenoids resistance tested with ohm meter and were within range.

Appreciate your valued opinions.

Pull the 13 pin plug ( pilot bush) and check it again for fluid. Was a genuine 13 pin plug used?
Did you have the transmission codes all cleared with a pro scanner after the new installs.
