Engine takes longer to start

Engine takes longer to start

W163 99. ML 430 is cranking will not start takes good 10 sec. wants starts runs all day,
Leave it for 1hr same problem , but i you start within 20 sec, everything OK ?
New v Fuel Filter & Cranking sensors fitted.
Any help be great

Definitely sounds like fuel delivery problem. See if you can get a fuel pressure gauge and test it.
Engine running it should be at 55 psi, and engine off after 30 mins should sit at 36 psi.
Your pump might be on its way out or the fuel pressure regulator in your new filter is faulty.
