sad state of affairs

Post by stevetre »

this afternoon ,I believe the end has come to our cherished W124 e280 wagon. It slid out on a corner in the wet and and instead of going over the embankment it slid into a embankment on the left side of the road and smacked the front drivers side. All concerned are ok, sore and sorry but ok. . Its been flat bedded to the repairers .Unsure of the outcome though it might be a write off. It has a good motor ,rebuild by the sponsor 4 to 5 years ago . rebuilt G/Box 30,000ks ago. tyres only 5,000kms on them just rego and insured .which if written off will be able to cancelled and recoup some pro rata $$ . I do have the option of getting the wreck .
will wait and see the outcome in the next couple of days

Sorry to hear that,
you could get another one with those defective parts, that are still good in yours!

It's only metal; be happy that nobody's hurt!
