w221 Alloy Wheels
Can Anyone point me in the right direction for a new set of Alloy Wheels for my car?
I took delivery of a used S350 last week (4800km) and the delivered alloy wheels were swapped out.
Can someone suggest a stylish set of rims/tyres for the car without me needing to pay stealership prices?
Anybody have experience with quality aftermarket brands?
What about offsets. Do any other models fit the w221 S350?
Thanks in advance.

Re: w221 Alloy Wheels
This will give you the offsets and sizes http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/inform ... cedes-benz and also a good range of wheels available (UK site)
AMG, Lorinser, Carlsson, Brabus would be good starting points for wheels.
Check out the carshine website for styles.
You may find some S/H ones in Aus? Look on ebay.de as well.
Other models will fit as long as the offset and wheel bolt diameter is the same.
Congrats on the purchase too - upload some pics when you can!
Good luck

Re: w221 Alloy Wheels
Hi Adam,
Thanks for your help and the welcome to the forum. Its a little daunting being new to the brand knowing where to start.
As the wheel gets bigger, do the offsets change?
What about staggered wheels where the rear is wider?
Thanks again.

Re: w221 Alloy Wheels
Hi Kman,
Generally speaking if the wheel width stays the same the offset will then stay the same - the website I gave before looks like it only has offsets for the Mercedes and AMG wheels (but all wheels will have the offset on them somewhere). Standard looks like et43 for an 8.5" wide front and rear and then the 9.5 wide rear (staggered) has the same offset - so you are pretty much looking for wheels with offset of et43 in 8.5 or 9.5 width. That gives you some pretty serious size tyres! The wheels listed (for AMG/ Merc) are 17, 18, 19 and 20 - so a big enough range there I would have thought
Cheers

Re: w221 Alloy Wheels
Im considering a set of used Brabus Monoblock V wheels.
I understood Brabus had a one size fits all with a combination of a vehicle specific adaptor/spacer.
How do I find out whether the wheels will fit my car and what spacer I need.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Not so sure about that
A quick ebay.de search shows different offsets......
Also wheel spacers are illegal for road use in Australia! Be careful you may void any warranties/ insurances!

Re: w221 Alloy Wheels
Sorry to get into your discussion, but can someone tell me if the AMG wheels from the new w222 models fit on w221?
On the link with offsets there is no w222 section :(
