I am looking at getting a W211 Wagon and want to get options on which engine is best/reliable. Any pointers on what to look out for? Is the E350 more fuel efficient than the E320?
Cheers!
W211 Wagon E240/E320 or E350?

Re: W211 Wagon E240/E320 or E350?
E350 post 2008.
If you can find one.
There's an E240 wagon at Car City in Melbourne -2004 model with 109,000k's on it for just on 11K$. It's been on sale for a year.
There was a 2010 W212 E350 wagon I looked at a few months ago. Went for $29K - 85,000K. A bit "Boomy" form the rear.
You would probably looking into the low to mid $20K's to get a post 2008 E350 wagon. Be very wary about any M272 engine dating from 2005 - late 2007.
