Heated seat repair R171

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a garage/mechanic to repair a drivers seat base in my new old 2005 SLK350 that won't heat. The lights go on, the lumbar drivers, base and lumbar passengers are fully functional but the drivers base doesn't heat at all.

From the slk world forum, I've gathered that it's a common problem but couldn't find anything on this local site.

I'd be very interested to hear of similar problems and also the solutions!
