Hi,
The aircon belt on the m110 screeches at idle speed. There is no more adjustment left on the tensioner. Do the belts stretch ? Or does the tensioner not hold the tension on the belt properly? Is it better to buy the next smaller belt length to leave more adjustment?
Thanks,
Carl

Re: 280e aircon belt
They stretch, but more likely it has become narrower.
It will sink in the groove of the pulleys and then you run out of adjustment.
It happens I got my hands on a whole range of NOS V-belts.
They are all 12.5/13mm wide (interchangeable)
I want 5 aud for each one. I have checked them for perishing signs and they are all fine.
Let me know what size you are after and I can ship you one or more.
Regards, Bart
