Who made the Penta style W201 factory wheel for AMG? Was it ATS? What are they now worth to buy? Anyone know?

Yes, genuine early AMG (Penta style) wheels were made by ATS. Not sure of values for the W201 version as they don't seem to be as highly sought after as those which fit earlier cars such as the W126, 116, 123 and 107. The W201 version does not have the "deep dish" appearance due to the high offset (ET) compared to the version for the earlier cars. I have a set of 16" x 8" on my 500SLC as well as a set of 15" x 7" to suit that car. Their manufacturing quality and strength falls well short of the genuine factory alloy wheels which are forged rather than cast.
107023 - 350SLC: 1973, 3sp auto, icon gold, parchment MBtex (sold July 2012 after 29 years ownership)
107026 - 500SLC: 1981, 4sp auto, thistle green, green velour
124090 - 300TE: 1990, 4sp auto, arctic white, cream-beige MBtex
124090 - 300TE: 1992, 4sp auto, malachite (spruce green), black MBtex
201024 - 190E-2.0: 1985, 5sp manual, black, black MBtex
201028 - 190E-2.3 Sportline: 1990, 5sp manual, arctic white, blue leather
201028 - 190E-2.3: 1992, 4sp auto, blueblack, grey MBtex
201028 - 190E-2.3 Sportline: 1990, 4sp auto, signal red, black cloth (parts car)
201034 - 190E-2.3-16 Cosworth: 1985, 5sp manual, blueblack, black leather
YG2S8 - Mini Clubman GT: 1972, 4sp manual, blue, parchment vinyl (my first car which I still own)

Hi Andrew,

Came across 2 that were attached to the remains of a 16v. I have now established that they are genuine Pentas but with an ET of 15 they certainly were not intended for a 190E. Just working out what they were meant to fit to decide what to do with them.
