Ahhh you're not in on the secret, MBs are not actually made in factories, they are all crafted in the deepest part of the black forest by elves using magic.
Sometimes this magic doesn't quite work, as is the case in some door stays, which either don't stay or jam with a crunchy noise.
So they put in a bit of effort and put in some extra unicorn feathers in the magic potion and came up with very solid door hinges that have the stay mechanism built into the hinges.
To show how good the new door hinges are, four elves disguised themselves as humans and sat on the doors.
I just bought this really neat S202 c200 Kompressor. Lovely condition and on dual fuel which I was a bit nervous about but I would now drive this beauty anywhere.

Thanks Mark.... Others may not agree but I'm personally not keen on the current trend of those LED strip type lights up front. No doubt they work well, but a little too 'blingy' for my taste.

It's a nice wagon, however I still miss the laid-back feel and polished timber interior of the E Class. In a perfect world I'd have both.

Cheers mate, and I'll think about the offer hehe
I've had the Merc for about 6 months now, the XR GT I've had for 2 years and the XR6 Turbo for 8 years. The Merc is my daily driver, and if the weather is nice on the weekend I'll sometimes take one of the other cars out.
