Bleeding brakes on W204

Post by busie »

Please advise me on brake bleeding on a W204 C class.I am used to the traditional bleeding
procedure, with the wife pressing the pedal. However,I have received conflicting advice online: Must use a pressure bleeder, pull the ABS fuse etc.So would an enthusiast please advise. If I have to which pressure bleeder should I buy ?

I'm not familiar with your car, but generally you don't have to do anything different for abs - at least on 80's cars. Same fluid going through lines and applying brakes, just with the ABS pump in line that is pulsing the pressure if the sensors show wheels locked.

If you put your location in your profile you might get better suggestions for advice - eg. from me, if you are in Adelaide and you don't get a response here, call Power Brakes who are open tomorrow and they will give you a definitive answer.
