Raising suspension.

Post by newMercowner69 » Wed 12 Jun, 2019 4:12 pm

Is there any AMG, Bilstein, Boge, Eibach, Sachs etc suspension kits, that raise the suspension?,
My "partner" has mobility issues,
Due to her weight,
She insists on a people mover,
But I don't have the $,
Besides I wouldn't get enough $ for Wagner wagon,
Because he's done over 205Km's which is genuine,
Also is there anyway of raising the roof height?.

My mother had issues getting in cars.
In the W202 I raised the seat as far as I could.

The springs have rubber inserts. There are differing height rubbers. The largest raise the height of the vehicle by around 15 mm - quite noticeable. However you need a spring compressor for this job.

You are in Melbourne. You can borrow my spring compressors if you need too.
My sister weighs 130kg. She had a lot of trouble with her previous car. (Mitsubishi). I gave her my W210. Vastly improved her exit, entry and general comfort.

I'm not mechanically minded sadly.
