NSW Historic Number Plate Mounting

Post by rjs1981 » Fri 06 Oct, 2017 5:25 pm

Hi all,

Just received the historic plates for my W123 and trying to decide which way is best to get these mounted. I'm currently considering just buying some blank aluminium novelty plates and riveting the NSW plates to that. Has anyone gone a different route? Why on earth don't they just make these plates the same size, anyway? Argh!

Cheers

I've used two solutions - fabricating my own adaptor from sheet aluminium, or more recently on my SLC ordering a blank novelty plate. See the link below
