Looks like Porsche has offered to buy his car back now.

Hey David,

have you got a version of that meme that says BMW instead of Porsche? There's a guy at work that needs to be emailed this....

Hehe... I suppose I could knock one up if you want to send me a picture for the top half... "If you're having bimmer problems I feel bad for you son'' still seems to work... :laughing6:

Speaking of '82 Mercs that still run my 300D has just done a trip to Melbourne and back and over the weekend towed a trailer with what would have been close 1 ton of rubbish and a load of one hundred 15x30 concrete pavers. What other 30+ year old car could manage that and still be nice to drive, reliable and do less than 10l/100 around town?

Wait, South Australians drive to Victoria to dump their rubbish?

...interesting.

Ah, the power of social media. Seems the banks are worried too:

"...a comprehensive survey of global banks by PwC has shown....Another new worry is the potential damage to reputation from social media, which is now seen as the eighth biggest risk in Australia. This didn’t rate a mention in 2012. The banks employ large teams to monitor the social media universe and respond to customer complaints promptly, in an attempt to reduce the fallout from social media criticism of their activity."
