Haha the jigsaw from hell! Mind you when you think of what all of those cars would be worth when fully rebuilt the price is pretty good. Still a lot of work ahead though...

a total write off , it went for $30,000.at pickles in Brisbane.

What was the story on it? Total write off due to a crash or was it flooding?

American import , but my mate at the auction said it has been regoed here. The bidding atarted at $10,000 and went crazy from there it was all over within 30 Seconds.

So would it be able to repaired and re-registered or was it a stat write off? Lots of panel work but from the under bonnet shot it looks like the engine hasn't been to badly bashed around.

Why are there two brake boosters in there?

twin boosters..Thats a BMW thing, one for each end of the car.not a Merc set up.This would have been a drum brake car which may explain the dodgy booster setup and the bent nose.
the entire front needs to be replaced because of the bent chassis.There were no details regarding Stat or Rep, status.

My mate tells me iit sold for $37,000 which means that various added on 'costs' it was in excess of 40 grand :laughing6:

Careful now, too much wax on the front and they'll slide off and fall on their @rse!
