Rear window Venetian blinds

Post by working on it » Thu 15 Mar, 2018 9:52 am

Hi folks, apologies for my last post that got lost (my fault)

I have recently put 3M clear film on my car windows, (the CR70 level) it’s fantastic, highly recommended, no more sunburn while driving! However, the film will not confirm to the curves of the rear window without looking crappy.

So, I am here to ask a favour....

I have been looking into rear Venetian blinds to help keep the sun out of the car by the huge rear window.
Can anyone help with a quality manufacturer/supplier for a W108 within cooee of my area
OR
Is there a member in Adelaide with a W108 who would be willing to take their beloved vehicle to the below address for me to have the window measured up so as I can have one custom made....

O’Brien Auto shades
124 Mooringe Ave
North Plympton SA 5037
Telephone +61 8 7225 7572

Thanking you in advance

I'm not in Adelaide, but if someone volunteers then I'll put my hand up for a set of louvres too.

Bulk purchase discount, anyone?

Hi
you can use a hot air gun on the film to shrink it, cut the film large than the rear window lay it on the out side of the glass using the hot air gun and a tool eg credit card will do to shrink it then cut it to size and fit inside as you did with the other windows. you my need to practice on some off cuts first
