Fitting motorised hirshman antenna to a 280SE sedan. Will one of these fit into the righthand mudgard without interfering with the fuse box etc, inside the cabin?

Hi,
I can't see why not; there's nothing inside the mudguard. Here's a picture of my W111 LHD right mudguard (the left one is the same) ... this is an electric antenna:

Yes it will! I have one fitted to my 3.5 280SE. Works well.

Yep. I pulled one out of the left guard and I just pulled off the right guard and there's nothing in there to prevent mounting it there.

There only cars that may need to be careful is the air suspension models as they have the tank under one of the guards.

I'm personally thinking of moving it to the rear. Or trying to eliminate altogether.
