Since 2009 there has been a classic boom of sorts , partly I think due to the internet and no doubt to magazines and the like talking up what in some places is a huge industry (now 5.9 billion pounds/yr in the UK).

It's still not really an investment , maybe pleasure - but not significant profit. But as the desirable models achieve silly prices , the lesser models are dragged upwards. FWIW...
