Servicing Engine 380SEL

Post by Variety Dave » Fri 27 Oct, 2017 7:12 am

Hi all
Bought an '85 380 SEL. Can someone tell me the best place to get the engine tuned right up and possible overhauled in Melbourne area? Compression on one side is not good. Doing car up for the Variety Club Bash in Victoria. Need reliable help!

I agree. I imagine you are not working on a big budget and once you start pulling a motor down, even just pulling heads and you are talking money beyond what you might pick up a rough car with a good running motor. I know times change and the supply of cars can dry up while nobody looking but I still think you should find something.

I would still recommend somebody to look at your engine and confirm that but I don't know your area.
